Permissions Explained

All (or most) permissions used are optional. We always strive to use as little permissions as possible, but some will be required if you want to use the related feature.

• Contacts (read only)
  • You can associate device contacts (from your phone) with contacts inside Broque, if you want to get profile pictures from those contacts shown in Broque.
• Camera
  • This is used to scan QR codes, and in the future it will be used to scan amounts, numbers or references for easier input
• Notifications
  • To display a notification when a backup is made, or for reminders to enter transactions
• Wake lock, boot completed
  • This is used to setup background operations (such as automatic backup and reminders)
• Ad Id
  • We use ad id to provide personalized ads (if allowed) through Admob
